Smart, loyal and easily trainable breed with strong protective instincts, the Rottweiler breed is well-muscled and has an incredibly strong jaw – far stronger than most breeds of similar size. Although they are solid in appearance, Rottweiler health problems can include heart issues. It’s therefore important to feed Rottweilers a diet that’s tailor-made to the specific needs of this lovable breed. Royal Canin® Rottweiler formula offers tailor-made nutrition for pure breed Rottweiler dogs over 18 months. The kibble is specially designed for the breed’s strong Molossoid jaw to slow down food intake rate. The high-energy content formula contains specific nutrients that promotes healthy cardiac function, while supporting muscle mass, bones and joints. Key Product Benefits Kibble technology Rottweilers have a box-like jaw, a broad snout and large teeth that meet in a scissor-like bite. ROYAL CANIN® Rottweiler kibble has been specifically designed for the Rottweiler’s strong, broad upper and lower jaws. The size, shape and density encourage the Rottweiler to chew its food before it swallows which also helps improve digestion. Healthy Cardiac Function Rottweilers can be predisposed to certain types of heart disease. This food contains taurine, L-carnitine and omega 3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) from fish oil to support heart muscle health and cardiac function. Bones and Joints Bred for their herding capabilities, Rottweilers are always active and enthusiastic, which often puts their joints under constant strain. ROYAL CANIN® Rottweiler has been specifically formulated to help support bone and joint health. Enriched with chondroitin and glucosamine, our food supports healthy bones and joints whilst maintaining ideal weight. Ideal Muscle Mass Robust, a natural athleticism and strong temperament make Rottweilers the king of guard dogs. To help maintain their finely muscled structure, Royal Canin® Rottweiler Adult formula is enriched with L-carnitine and has a minimum protein content of approximately 24%.
